It is in Sarlat, capital of the Périgord Noir that our property Au Clos de Mathilde can welcome you. Enjoying a privileged location on the heights of the medieval town, in a quiet area, you can enjoy a large wooded park.
The Garden and the View
This location offers our guests a very appreciable viewpoint, but also calm and intimate.
The property has a wooded park of over one hectare, dotted with fruit trees providing the raw material for our homemade jams. You will also find a row of vines to taste the grapes from the estate.
This natural and flowery atmosphere goes perfectly with the warmth of the golden stones of a traditional borie, preserved year after year, as an ultimate cachet for our park.

Our heated swimming pool welcomes you from may to september for a peaceful time of leisure and relaxation, in the heart of the wooded park.
The heated Swimming Pool
In the first days of may and until the end of september, you will appreciate the softness of a brand new outdoor swimming pool, eight meters long by four wide. This swimming pool, heated for your comfort, is accessible to all our guests (depth 1m40) with a terrace of almost 100m2.
Deckchairs and towels are available for you to relax and unwind, as well as an adjacent bar to quench your thirst without leaving this leisure area. Finally, to entertain you, we provide you with a ping-pong table with its equipment, as well as a pétanque court.
The Interiors
Our character guest house has been completely renovated, tastefully decorated and furnished, in order to welcome you in an exceptional setting. You will appreciate our two lounges, our fireplace, as well as the dining room where we receive table d’hôtes one time a week.
The Lounges
The summer lounge offers large sofas, armchairs and a coffee table, directly overlooking the bay windows of the outdoor terrace, devoted to breakfasts.
The winter lounge located in the other wing of the house, is composed of a suite of comfortable armchairs arranged around a coffee table, and overlooking the reception desk of the house, as well as the main staircase.
Finally, freely accessible and located between these two lounges, a kitchen area open to the living room offers our guests coffee, tea and infusion at will, throughout their stay.
The summer lounge awaits you for a moment of exchange and sharing in front of the domain’s outdoor terrace.
